Pain and the Older Person

Everyone experiences pain at some point although pain is much more common among older persons. Between 25 and 50% of older adults living in the community have pain on a regular basis. The incidence is much higher (between 45-80%) for those living in nursing homes. One in five North Americans is affected by pain each day. Pain is the main reason for seeking health care services.

Robert, (Director of marketing) Montreal.
